Defenseman Brandon Montour has agreed to a two-year, $6.775 million contract through the 2019-20 season to stay with the Anaheim Ducks.

The Ducks announced the deal Tuesday with their restricted free agent.

The New York Islanders have agreed to terms with restricted free-agent forward Brock Nelson on a one-year, $4.25 million contract.

The deal announced Monday allows the team and Nelson to avoid an arbitration hearing that was scheduled for Aug. 3.

The Minnesota Wild have agreed to a five-year, $30 million contract with restricted free-agent defenseman Matt Dumba, the team announced Saturday.

The Red Wings announced the move with the restricted free agent Wednesday, keeping the 23-year-old wing after he led the team with 24 goals last season.

The Colorado Avalanche have agreed on a two-year deal with forward Matt Nieto.

Nieto is coming off a season in which he scored a career-high 15 goals for the Avalanche. He also had his first career NHL hat trick on Oct. 24 against Dallas.

The Florida Panthers have agreed to terms with defenseman Alexander Petrovic on a $1.95 million, one-year deal.

General manager Dale Tallon announced the contract Friday. Tallon called Petrovic a dependable young defenseman who "plays the game with an edge and has grown into a strong shutdown defender."

The Carolina Hurricanes have signed free-agent defenseman Calvin de Haan to a four-year contract.

General manager Don Waddell said Tuesday night that the deal is worth a total of $18.2 million.

The New York Islanders agreed to a one-year deal with free-agent forward Tom Kuhnhackl on Monday.

The 26-year-old right wing had four goals and 12 assists in 57 games for Pittsburgh last season. He has 11 goals and 28 assists in 168 career games over three seasons -- all with the Penguins.
